I am 6 weeks post op and my right implant is still significantly higher and smaller than my left implant. I have been struggling with this since the first week of my post op. My PS said no massage or strap... My left breast is nice and squishy and bounces while my right is harder and doesn't move. Am I doomed? What is the problem with them? Is this normal? Each week that goes by I feel more and more like I'll need a revision. :(
Answer: BBL revision candidate? Ideal candidates are at a stable weight, in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions. Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells. Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.

Answer: Breast Augmentation: information Dear Ms. OliviaXo,Thank you for your story, photos and concerns. First follow your chosen Plastic Surgeons instructions. If you were my patient I would recommend aggressive displacement excercises and wearing a postioning strap. In my experience if the breast implant has not "seated" properly by 6 weeks the likely hood of surgery to create symmetry is likely. I trust you have chosen a Plastic Surgeon who is Bd. Certified. Again I would work with him/her to reach your goals. My best,Dr. R. A. Hardesty, MD, FACS

Answer: Right breast malposition Looks like you are demonstrating right breast malposition; this degree of malposition will not be corrected with conservative measures and will most likely requrie a revision where the implant is removed and replaced following sewing down of your breast pocket, called a capsulorrhaphy, and taking out the pocket capsule inferiorly. Please see breast augmentation revision examples below.
