6 days ago I had Infini RF to treat mild acne scaring in two areas the size of a nickel located in my upper cheek bone region (the rest of my skin was fine). The settings used for all areas of the face shown in the photo were: 1st pass 3.5 Level3 300ms shots:220 2nd pass 3.0 Level3 300ms shots:248 3rd pass 2.5 Level3 300ms shots:225 For each pass, the shots were one after another. There was a 5 second break when turning from one side of my face to the other, a 20 sec break between each pass

The energy levels are on the medium level for all 3 passes. I usually let off on the energy as I become more superficial. This degree of redness at day 6 is too much. Also, pain should not be an issue at this time. I would be concerned about an infection. I would treat you with antibiotics. Also, you are volume depleted and optimal results for helping acne scars requires that this be repleted.

The skin reaction after 1 week of treatment is very settle and redness is basically gone. It is high likely there is an infection. You must consult your physician as soon as possible to receive a prescription for antibiotics.

Agree with Dr Weiner. INFINI RF is a great device, but its only a device or instrument, 80% of the results you will get will be user dependent. 20% due to the device. At day 6 there should be NO pain. Even with high energy delivery and long PD, your skin should heal by day 4-5, even quicker with PRP. Your treatment level, in the context of acne scar revision is low. Ideally levels are always adjusted on the run, as scar lie in different levels and not uniform.
