I have seen faster results with this procedure and Carboxy Pneumo dissection, smart lipo afterwards to tighten the skin and under local anesthesia. I just watched a doctor that stated if PRP or Cell recovery is used you should be able to sit immediately?
Answer: Brazilian Butt Lift Getting a Brazilian Butt Lift under local anesthesia can be very painful and is not recommended. Modern general anesthesia is low risk and has less drawbacks.

Answer: Is the recovery faster for BBL with local anesthesia? You do not necessarily need general anesthesia, but I do think it is a better patient experience. I have performed many of these procedures with local and sedation, but it is certainly not for everyone and risk benefit analysis must be performed for each patient. If you want as much projection with a high volume transfer, local with sedation is probably not a good idea. Having to transfer 1200 cc to 2000 cc per buttock is very painful for the patient. Answer: Local anesthesia for BBL Thanks for your question -Typically the amount of volume of fat harvesting required for brazilian butt lifts (liposuction and fat transfer to hips and buttocks) typically means that local anesthesia isn't a practical way to have surgery done. I hope that helps!

Answer: Local Anesthesia BBL Recovery It sounds wonderful but unfortunately there is no scientific data or studies to support this. I always counsel by patients that you get what you pay for in life. If you want real results you need real surgery with a real recovery. Best

Answer: Is the recovery faster for BBL with local anesthesia? Thank you for your question. For smaller procedures, like removing moles or revising scars, local anesthesia can be a great choice. For larger procedures, I tell all of my patients the same thing. My goals as your surgeon are your safety, outcome and comfort. In that order. When you have a larger procedure performed under local, you often sacrifice one or all of those main goals. Having this surgery under general anesthesia allows the patient to be monitored under anesthesia, have the highest level of comfort, and for the surgeon to be more aggressive with the liposuction needed. As far as PRP goes, we are still investigating its uses, but are optimistic that it can help with the take of the grafting. I will still recommend to patients that they avoid sitting in one position for long periods of time. t’s important to make sure you search for a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience in this type of surgery. Best of luck.
