Question

Day 41 since I was injected with botox and diagnosed with botulism! My heart keeps flipping into irregular rhythms. Makes my chest hurt so badly and my breathing then becomes difficult, then I need oxygen. I'm uncoordinated, my hands tremor and I drop things. I have random muscle spasms, twitches and shooting pains and have developed a neck tic. Why is this even allowed to be used for cosmetic reasons and why wasn't I warned about anything?! These symptoms are NOT on my consent! Be real doctors!

Sorry you had the problem; however, in the package insert there is a black box warning that these types of symptoms may occur. They are very rare but it is up to your doctor to inform you. Millions of people are injected yearly with Botox and have no problem. Unfortunately that does not help you but the warning is there on the package insert

I wonder if the Botox you received was not made by Allergen? Some physician may not use it or may not dilute it properly.

All procedures, including Botox carry potential risks and complications which is why these treatments should only be performed by experienced and qualified physicians. I hope you will seek reputable doctors conduct work up of your symptoms which I am doubtful are attributable to a few units of cosmetic Botox injections on your forehead or on the side of your eyes.
