Do I need corrective blepharoplasty after double eyelid surgery? (Photos)

I got double eyelid surgery about 3 months ago. The scarring is still present and there’s some thick scar tissue where the incision was made near the medial corners of my lids. The surgeon didn’t do the best job. I was wondering if my double lids will ever heal properly or if I’ll need corrective surgery. What do you think is the best option to fix this?

it is difficult to tell from the photograph but it can take 6-12 months for final healing of the scar after eyelid surgery, so this will improve. That said, I would visit with your surgeon or other eyelid specialist to make sure you don’t have abnormal scarring which can be treated with creams or steroid injections. Hope this helps!
