Is it normal to still be this swollen 6 weeks post op double eyelid surgery? It was a revision (Photo)

The swelling in my eyes just don’t seem to be getting better. I had my eyes done before and it wasn’t this swollen at six weeks. Is it because it was a revision? I am stressed out and feeling extremely conscious about my eyes and don’t feel like going anywhere.

Hello! Pretarsal crease height can be lowered surgically to decrease pretarsal show.  It may be unrealistic to lower to the same height as before surgery but it can be lowered to make the eye shape appear more almond and less round.  Goretti H. Taghva MD FACS
