Do butt implants last forever?

Question

So I'd like to get butt implants. I'm 18 and I have NO butt at all. It really hurts my self esteem!! So, how much are they, and do they last forever? What would I have to bring? Do I have to show ID to prove I'm 18?

Surgical prices vary by region, surgeon reputation, and surgical experience.  Keep in mind however that very few plastic surgeon truly specialize in buttock implants and the first time around has the absolute best chance for aesthetic success. Revision  for botch-jobs are not only very expensive but extremely challenging to achieve at least a good, not great, final outcome.
Unlike breast implants that can rupture and leak, buttock implants cannot and therefore are considered a permanent implants (i.e. never need to be replaced). Glad to be of help.

Not many implants in the human body last forever and Butt Silicone Implants are no different. Thought they are firmer, more cohesive than breast implants they can migrate, get infected, cause discomfort, capsular contracture, etc. Fat transfer in general has replaced for the most part the use of implants in the majority of cases.

Hi and thanks for the question. There is no current recommendation to replace buttocks implants at any particular time so they could potentially last your lifetime. Buttock implants are made a solid soft silicone material that will last forever. They are not like silicone breast implants which are fluid/gel-filled silicone bags.

Butt implants are gummy bear like in texture and not like breast implants; as such I expect them to last a long time. The very first pair that I implanted was over 11 years ago and her implants are still doing very well; since implants have not been used for a long time, nobody can tell you for sure how long they are going to last.
