How often can I get Dysport? Is it safe for people with multiple sclerosis to use Dysport cosmetically?

I had dysport 3 and a half weeks ago in my forehead and in between my eyes. My forehead looks great. No movement and no lines. The lines between my eyes are still there. How long do I have to wait to get more dysport in that area?

It takes 2 weeks for Dysport results. If it is after 2 weeks, you can get a touch-up. You can get Dysport if you have MS. Dysport results resolve in 3-4 months. Hope this helps.

You can have a touch-up now. It will take 1-2 weeks for results. People with multiple sclerosis can get Dysport injections for cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Emer

It is safe for people with multiple sclerosis to use Dysport cosmetically.  Generally, Dysport wears off after 3-4 months.  While you could receive a touch up now that the full results from your treatment are showing, if you are happy with your results, I would recommend waiting 3-4 months until the Dysport begins to fade before receiving another treatment.

Hello and thank you for your question. Dysport is used off label for MS in terms of treating spasticity and dystonia but when it comes to treating the glabella and forhead it is FDA approved. we typically give full doses for those areas every 3 months but your provider may give you a touch up if you still have some lines. Although static lines may just require some time.
