I have under-eye hollows, darkness & blue veins under my eyes. I don't smoke, drink & I am not anemic. I would like to get a Restylane filler to correct this, I have researched but many websites don't provide pictures of tear trough fillers in their gallery, which makes choosing difficult. 1. How much does 2cc's of Restylane filler cost in the GTA? 2. Will it help with discolouration from blue veins? 3. Is it a bad sign if a clinic is offering "Specials" or "promotional pricing"?
Answer: Eye Fillers These are advanced techniques so be sure to get an experienced cosmetic dermatologist consultation for recommendations and treatment options. Filler prices vary by experience and usually $700 per vial in Canada. Stay away from discount places as most volume injectors don't offer discounts.

Answer: Undereye Treatments Hi and thanks for your question!Undereye filler is a really good option for you and Restylane has a variety of great products including Refyne and the Skinbooster line (Vital light) which could be used to achieve the results you're after. Product selection will dictate pricing with a single syringe running $600-800. Discounts for first time clients or promotional pricing shouldn't influence your decision either way. I'm just curious as to why you're looking for the price for 2cc's? While you may require 2cc to correct the area, it's been my experience that a graded approach works best - i.e. 1cc and see if you like it, then follow-up for another cc if it isn't quite enough for you.Never the less, it's important to see a qualified and experienced specialist for this particular area as there are some inherent risks. Microcannula is a great option and would be the only method by which I would approach treating this area. A qualified Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon could deliver on the results you're after. Find someone who you get along with and trust. Hope you found this helpful.Mike

Answer: Cost of under eye tear trough filler in Toronto area The cost of 2cc of restylane filler will vary in Toronto partly based on: which filler is being used, which area is being treated, and which injector is treating you. For a highly trained and experienced physician injector such as a dermatologist, treating the tear troughs with 2cc restylane would likely run you between $1200-$1800. It can help with looking less tired and less dark under the eyes.

Answer: The cost of fillers Dear Aviana, Thank you for your clinical post and photograph. Hollowing under the eyes is a very common anatomic variant and usually hereditary in nature when it occurs in someone as young as yourself. It projects an image of being tired and is difficult to conceal. You appear to have the additional anatomic variation of venous engorgement or under eye veins, which is a bluish discoloration. You have several options and an excellent non-surgical option is the use of under eye soft tissue fillers such as Restylane as you outline in your RealSelf post. In addition, a long pulse YAG laser can be used to reduce the size of the veins. Radio frequency treatments under the eye and sometimes a little bit of Botox for the small roll above the under eye fat pad is also beneficial. Expert injection in centres and injectors will be able to review the options with you and most centres should have some type of under eye filler in their photo gallery. Many centres do offer first time specials or promotions, even high quality centres to make the first experience affordable as well as engaging. Ensure that the centre you select has been offering soft tissue fillers for many years and the injectors are very adept at the use of non-sharp needle or microcannula, which minimizes the risk of vascular accidents and filler related blindness. I’ve been performing soft tissue injections for 20 years and the past 6 or 7 years have focused on microcannula technique, volume shaping and under eye rejuvenation. Of course, one day surgery may be of some interest to you and a simple local anesthetic transconjunctival approach with fat pad removal is an excellent option. I hope this information has been of some assistance and best of luck. For more information, please review the link below. R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. Certified Plastic Surgeon Yorkville, Toronto
