Do I have to stop taking birth control pills 30 days before my BBL or it’s not a must?

I’m planning on getting BBL soon and they telling me that I have to stop taking birth control 30 days before the surgery. Is it a must? Cause when I did a rhinoplasty I didn’t have too.
