What is the best filler to create the appearance of a narrower nasal bridge?

For those patients with a flat, wide nasal bridge (or dorsum), some filler along this area can create more height along the most middle part of the bridge. A taller, more augmented dorsum can create better proportions compared to a flatter wider nose. This gives your nose the appearance of being more narrow while not literally narrowing it.  This is a great example of what a non-surgical rhinoplasty can do.The type of filler that is typically used along this area is hyaluronic acid (Juvederm, Restylane, etc.).  Radiesse, which is made of calcium hydroxyapatite, is also a good option.The type of filler used for this non-surgical rhinoplasty is less important than the technique used.  To get consistent results with this type of procedure, I recommend finding a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who is an expert in both injectable fillers AND rhinoplasty surgery.  A surgeon who has excellent surgical experience with noses should have the best insight into how injectable fillers can be used in the area for a non-surgical rhinoplasty.  In my opinion, this gives you the best chance and consistent results.Best of luck.

When putting filler in nose, it can give support and fill in areas, but it is impossible to make it more narrow. Common areas of placement are the dorsum, tip, spine, and nasion. There are complications with nasal injections so you must go to an experienced injector. I would be very careful about placing anything other than an HA. Different fillers will not make a difference in appearance.
