Is this a receding hairline? (photos)

For all of us who have never met you, it would be impossible to say if a photo can tell if your hair has receded.It would also be impossible to tell if your hair loss will "get worse" without an examination.Maybe you always had a high forehead or maybe you have a receding hair line.If you want a diagnosis, you need an examination.

From the photos submitted, it does appear that you have a receding hairline.  However, only a close up examination of the hairs can determine if this is androgenic alopecia.  Hair undergoes a process of thinning and miniaturization with androgenic alopecia.  If you are concerned speak with a hair loss specialist, who can evaluate your scalp and help provide a treatment plan.

lines? Yes, this is absolutely a receiving hair line and you should seek the
help of a board certified dermatologist for assistance. I would strongly
recommend that you start the oral drug Propecia which is a prescription. Beyond
that I will strongly recommend Nutrafol 4 tablets a day and Rogaine 5% foam 2
times a day. Both the Nutrafol and Rogaine are over the counter and the
Nutrafol you may purchase online. You appear to have very nice hair I would get
started with these measures immediately.

It really makes for a more meaningful response.  In looking at your hairline, there does appear to be thinning known as "frontotemporal recession", which is thinning at the triangles along the sides of the central hair.  You are at a great point to consider treatment.  Treatment should be focused on not only maintaining your hair, but also making your hair look as good as possible now.  Take time to find a hair doctor that will give time and guidance as each physician has a unique style and approach when it comes to hair.Very best,Dr. Paul

Seems to be a receding hairline at Norwood 1. As you have not mention about your age it is hard to say something if it will be progressive.Better to see a specialist for the diagnosis.

It's a good idea to see a physician for an up close exam to confirm the diagnosis and plan treatment if you so desire. This does appear to be a receding hairline with early genetic hair loss (Norwood 1). Male pattern hair loss is progressive in most men, and it likely will get worse.

It does look like your hairline is receding. The way to determine, is to lift your eyebrows and look to the highest crease in your furrowed brow. The mature hairline in a male is one finger breadth above the highest crease in the middle and the corners should have a gentle V shape to it. See a skilled doctor to help you make the diagnosis.
