Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. I recommend avoiding herbal tea for 10 days prior to surgery, as this may lead to interference with blood clotting. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. I would avoid taking all her bills supplements and vitamins for at least two weeks prior to surgery. These industries are essentially unregulated by the FDA. Therefore there could be many ingredients in them that are not even listed on the bottle. Some of those ingredients may cause problems with blood pressure or blood thinning. The inability to clot in a surgical procedure often leads to complications. It can take your body over one week to remake new platelets after taking a blood thinning medication.
Herbal teas often contain ginseng, and other ingredients that are blood thinners, or impair the clotting mechanism of blood. I would avoid these, and most supplements for 10 days before surgery.
It is possible to drink herbal teas before rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery and it should not have any detrimental effect the healing process. It is best to check with your operative surgeon.
Avoid supplements and herbal treatments because they may cause clotting issues as some of them have blood thinners in them.

Thanks for your question. Every plastic surgeon has his/her own postoperative protocol, I usually remove my own sutures and nasal splints. I recommend discussing this directly with your plastic surgeon since direct constructive feedback is always important for a physician...
It isn't usually recommended to have any procedure just before major cosmetic surgery to your nose, as the risk of introducing infection is much higher. The tattooing may introduce infection (similar to avoiding dental fillings or having an infected toenail where surgery would be cancelled) . It...
Seems to me that your nose needs an elevation and re-shaping of the tip, and smoothing of the bridge. Putting a big piece of cartilage in the bridge would make your nose look far too large. Maybe the rib and ear cartilage are being planned for some other area, but I don't see it.I made a morph...
