MCFs ranging between 80-96 fL/red cell in adults are considered normal. A MCV lower than 80 indicates red blood cells are too small and cannot take in as much hemoglobin as they should. If the body runs out of iron, iron deficiency anemia can cause low MCH levels. I appreciate your concern. The MCV value is not enough to draw a conclusion on whether surgery can move forward or not. A more important value would be actually be the hemoglobign or hematocrit level. These values tell us if you ahev enough red blood cells to safely undergo an operation. A great question, but believe it or not, implant pricing is not based on size. Difference in pricing is in the material of the implant (saline vs. silicone) and not size.
It is not unusual to look somewhat smaller in the first week or two after surgery. Generally, it will take 2 to 3 months for your tissues to relax and accommodate to the implants. This allows more projection and a more natural upper breast shape.
