Hard Lump Above Incision Area? (photo)

Question

3 weeks post op I have a hard lump above my incision area. I dont know is just swelling or turn to be fibrosis. What you guys think? I just want a second opinion.

Yes go obtain IN PERSON second opinion! Over the internet we can not touch the area to guess the issue. My guess is scar tissue.

I see a mismatch, in that the tissue above is thicker than that below. This is not that unusual as there is more fat in the upper flap than the lower one. This could be the problem. It could also be swelling or a combination of the two. Give it at least 3 months to settle. If not better dicuss options with your plastic surgeons.

Many thanks for the question.Three weeks post operative it has to be fibrosis and nothing else.There could be some collection that is getting organized turning hard in the process of healing.
