Can number of fat cells decrease after this unique situation? Please help.

I recently had a systemic inflammatory reaction to sculptra, which is settling down. During the time I was having an extreme reaction my Dr prescribed me Methylprednisolone(6 day pack) then 1wk later I was prescribed prednisone for 1wk. I gained 11lbs QUICKLY. I'm naturally tiny & fit & now have lots of new fat padding around hips & stomach area. I have been off the steroids 3.5wks. Are these new fat cells permanent or can they disappear to my normal body I've wrked so hard for my entire life?

Weight gain from steroids like Methylprednisolone and Prednisone is often due to fluid retention and increased appetite rather than the creation of new fat cells. Once off the medication, the excess weight may start to decrease. However, it’s essential to focus on a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and regular exercise, to help your body return to its previous state.
