Sorry to hear you are having some breathing difficulty.  You are still very early in your recovery period, and intra-nasal swelling and mucous production can absolutely obstruct some breathing for quite some time.  I would expect that your breathing would continue to improve as time goes on.  That being said, without being able to examine your nose in person it is difficult to tell for sure.

Its difficult to answer this question without a full nasal examination.  See your surgeon and express your concerns.  Possible causes of breathing problems after rhinoplasty include a residual deviated septum, nasal s carring called synechia, nasal valve narrowing, turbinate swelling, post surgical swelling

The healing process after Rhinoplasty can be as long as 12 to 18 months. This is particularly true for a nose with a considerable thick skin. It is true that the nasal volume decreases with rhinoplasty especially if the nose is quite large but one month after surgery is too soon to make a judgement on the result. Best thing you can do follow up with your surgeon during the healing process. There are various supportivr treatments that can be used. Best
