Based on the photo you provided you appear to be class 5a-6.Rogaine and/or Propecia would be important adjuncts to help prevent further loss.It is unlikely they will significantly thicken the existing hair.

It appears that you are a Norwood 5 but would need more photos to say exactly. Medications can help improve hair thickness and density by approx 10-15%....not enough to make a significant difference in Norwood 5. PRP and transplant would be excellent treatments to correct Norwood 5

Your pattern of balding will lead to a Class 6 pattern over time. It is worth trying both finasteride and minoxidil but in the long term, you will lose that battle
