CoolSculpting affects the submental fat underneath the chin, so it doesn’t actually address the chin at all. This means you could safely add your chin filler anytime before or after your procedure. You could even have the two treatments at the same time. Keep in mind that CoolSculpting requires expertise in applicator placement to produce the best possible result. Make sure your doctor is board-certified and has extensive experience with this device to ensure an optimal outcome.
Since these treatments are performed in two different locations (one under the chin and one on the chin), you should not have to wait to have the filler done. These two treatments together can make a profound difference in the definition of the jawline and the facial profile. Make sure you are working with an experienced, board-certified dermatologist with expertise in both these procedures to ensure you enjoy an optimal outcome.
When CoolSculpting is done to the chin, the treatment area is at the fullness which is under the chin. Chin fillers are normally placed above this area, so the two treatments should not affect one another. Therefore, in my opinion, a filler to the chin could be done anytime after a CoolSculpting treatment under the chin.
There is no definitive timeline. It depends whether the treated areas overlap. If they do I would prefer to wait at least 6-7 weeks so that the coolsculpting effects become evident and the placement of chin filler becomes more efficient.
Thank you for your question. You should ideally wait a full 3 months to get your full results from CoolSculpting before having filler placed in your chin. Hope this helps!
You can have filler placed on your chin the same day since CoolSculpting on the "chin" is actually done on the "double chin". The double chin is actually not a chin, but the fat deposits below the anatomic chin, and this area is called the submentum. CoolSculpting is done on the submentum and other fat deposits of the neck, so there is no problem with getting filler and CoolSculpting on the same day. Best wishes, Mary Beth Mudd, M.D.
If the coolsculpting is being done on your neck, you can have fillers placed into your chin at the same time. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Coolsculpting is actually performed on the submental neck and not the chin as this is a misnomer. This covers the fatty tissue under the neck . Filler is placed on the chin over the bone and mentalis muscle , so an adjacent area to where Coolsculpting was performed. This could be performed the same day

CoolSculpting is non-invasive procedure that uses a vacuum applicator to draw in skin and underlying subcutaneous fat to deliver controlled cooling. This penetrates below the skin causing permanent elimination of fat. Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia is a rare side effect of Coolsculpting and the...
Shingles is not a contraindication of CoolSculpting and you should be okay getting this procedure done again. Make sure you contact a board-certified physician or other experienced practitioners for safe and effective results.
