The surgeon is one of the best in my country so I trust him. But I still have a lot of tightness and numbness in my chin and also lost some sensation in my underlip. I called him and he said it’s normal and I just have to be patient for everything to feel normal again. My father told me that nerves can be damaged during procedures and that they will heal but it can take months. But still I am really concerned that it’s not normal and I wont get sensation back and that tightness won’t go away.
