Normal with "worse" results a few days after liposuction? And white bump after using compression garment. (Photo)

Question

1 week ago I had chin lipo. Right after taking off the bandage(day 3) I thought the results were very good. But a week later I feel the results have gotten worse. Is this because of the swelling? Will my final results in 6 months look more like the results I saw only a few days after the lipo, instead of what I'm seeing today? I'm a bit red, but I don't seem too swollen. And today I found two white bumps. I've been using my compression garment since day 3, 24/7. Please tell me its just a pimple?

So the space left after the fat is gone fills with fluid as soon as the bandage comes off. This is what is happening to you. Until the layers stick together, this will look uneven and lumpy. ~Give it at least three months and wear the neck support as much as you can to speed this process up. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

You are still early in the healing process and you may still be experiencing some degree of swelling. Usually it takes around 3-6 months for you to heal fully and only by this time will you see your final results. Follow your surgeon's instructions to avoid any post-op complications.
