This is difficult to answer without pictures and needs an in-person evaluation, because results are variable. Typically my patients will come in for 1-2 treatments per year as maintenance for skin tightening. For best results, I often recommend Thermage in combination to ultherapy, venus legacy and/or sculptra. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi, thank you for your question! I always recommend for patients to repeat thermage yearly. Typically patients repeat within the 9 to 12 month range. Thermage can be performed as early as every 6-9 month's.
Many patients have Thermage done once a year to maintain and replenish and rejuvenate collagen in the skin. Both the skin tightening effect and the production of new collagen maintains the youthful appearance. In Europe some patients even have Thermage performed every six months. I combine Thermage with other treatments such has microneedling with PRP and Fraxel or Clear and Brilliant and injections of Botox or Juvederm for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
I always tell my patients that the beauty of Thermage is "no downtime." This is a procedure that I recommend as a yearly or biannual treatment to maintain collagen in the dermis and to correct early skin laxity on the body and face. Thermage works by shrinking and renewing collagen in the skin. It does not affect the surface sun damage so it is best combined with a surface treatment like a peel, laser or IPL if downtime is acceptable. When Thermage works for a patient, I highly recommend that it be used to keep the skin tones and the dermis healthy. All the best to you. Dr Alexis Parker
