i have some fine line(not deep ones) under my both eyes. I'm 28 now. i started using nu-face, laser genesis, and high-end eye creams. but not really work out. i don't wanna try surgery, but thinking thermage, or some fillers might work. but of course, any treatment is non-surgercal, non-injectable will be better. so, what's my best option???
Answer: Eye tighten, lifting; crepe skin: plasma pen, Thermage, threads, Botox, Fillers, Lasers (co2/erbium); emeragecosmetics roller The eye area needs significant combinations to get improvement. Lasers like erbium, co2, halo, profractional/contour, or Fraxel can all be used to build collagen long term. Plasma pen is a newer less invasive option but will take many treatments and require proper skincare. Plasma Pen is focused electrical plasma energy to tighten skin, producing small columns of energy just above the skin, allowing the skin to tighten to help improve wrinkles. This area will have 3-5 days of small “dots” that will then scab and peel, then the skin will tighter and brighter after. Numerous treatments are needed over lasers where only one or two give a bigger result, but more downtime. After plasma pen you NEED peels 2 weeks like later Cosmelan, enlighten or aerify, see emeragecosmetics (link). At home derma rolling should be started weekly even after plasma pen or lasers to further increase collagen, see emeragecosmetics AERIFY x anteagemd stem cell ampules. To properly heal you need light Stim red LED, EmerageSkin refit face, refit eye; AnteageMD serum, silagen silicone gel, jan Marini bioshield, EmerageSkin enzymatic polish, and EmerageSkin hyla b and AOX, and Sente dermal repair. Otherwise there is EXTREME risk of pigmentation issues and “dots” in the treatment area. at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (AERIFY emerageskin roller with Anteage MD ampules) should be started now regardless for antiaging, sun damage, and wrinkle prevention. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning (if doing lower eyelid surgery) will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels, and microneedling RF like Fractora, PiXel8 or morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: For your under eye concerns: At SkinCeuticals, our Integrated Skincare approach is centered on the belief that a precise combination of clinical in-office procedures, professional treatments, and an advanced homecare regimen is the ideal recipe to help maintain healthy, youthful-looking skin. For this reason, we formulate our skincare for maximum efficacy alone, and as a complement to office-based treatments for enhanced outcomes. We recommend consulting with your physician to see if fillers are right for you.For your under eyes look for a product that contains vitamin C, phloretin, and ferulic acid. These ingredients will help protect the eye area against atmospheric aging caused by environmental aggressors and increase microcirculation. SkinCeuticals AOX+ Eye Gel is an innovative serum-in-a-gel created specifically for delicate skin and will help reduce the appearance of visible signs of aging around the eye. It also helps to decrease puffiness caused by excess fluid and combats signs of fatigue to restore a more vibrant, rested appearance. We would also suggest SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier. This product has been tested suitable for use post injectable and also helps to improve the appearance of crow’s feet, while promoting a more taut canvas and an overall refined complexion. This multi-functional serum is proven to: 1. Amplify the skin’s hyaluronic acid levels by 30%, 2. Improve the appearance of firmness and facial plumpness, 3. Help prevent the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, and 4. Visibly smoothes skin texture. In a 12-week clinical study, subjects saw an improvement in the appearance of firmness and skin texture.

Answer: Thermage and Fine Lines Botox is always my recommendation for treating and preventing fine lines around the eyes. Thermage is reserved for improving skin laxity and could possibly improve the lines depending on the appearance. Other options could include under-eye injectable fillers or laser resurfacing. Please make an in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist

Answer: Thermage for Fine Lines Thermage® is a safe, non-invasive, radiofrequency (RF) cosmetic procedure that’s clinically proven to help smooth, tighten and contour skin for an overall younger looking appearance. The treatment delivers natural looking results with little to no downtime —on all skin colors, on and off the face, all in a single procedure. Fast and easy, you can even come in during your lunch break and return to work after! Thermage® uses radiofrequency technology to heat the deep, collagen rich layers of your skin. The heat helps tighten existing collagen and stimulate the formation of new collagen, which reduces sagging, renews contours, and improves the smoothness and texture of the skin’s surface. Comfort Pulse Technology, including a vibrating handpiece delivers enhanced patient comfort. On the face, Thermage® can treat sagging skin, loose jowls, lack of definition in the jaw line, sagging neck skin (“turkey neck”), wrinkles and fine lines, and lack of definition in the lips. Around the eyes, Thermage® can treat under eye bags, hooding, rough texture on the eyelids, wrinkles and fine lines, and other contributors to tired looking eyes. Elsewhere on the body, Thermage® can treat wrinkled, sagging or bulging skin as well as the appearance of cellulite! While you will see an improvement immediately, Thermage® usually takes up to 6 months to see the maximum result and this improvement is said to last approximately 18 months. Often patients repeat Thermage® more often to get additional tightening. It's important, of course, to make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist because results can be variable depending on who is performing the procedure.
