I'm 19. I want to get a rhinoplasty and a dental implant for a missing tooth but I'm just not sure if one would affect the other and if it would how long should I wait between them?

Answer: Rhinoplasty and dental implant Hi there, I do think you can have the rhinoplasty and the dental implant the same year. I do not think one will negatively affect the other. When planning for the time of the procedures, I would say your nose will be tender and swollen immediately after the rhinoplasty and some of the swelling will extend to the upper lip. You might have to have your mouth open for a little while for the implant to be placed, make sure you are comfortable opening your mouth before you do for the implant. In other words, you might want to wait a couple of months to see how you feel before scheduling. Hope this helps!
