I'm 4 days post op. I know it's very soon, but I can't help but wonder if the reason why there's such a significant difference in size is because one has dropped a bit more than the other. My post op appt is in 2 days, but I just want some insight to ease my mind until them. Or I guess more of clarification? Both are 350cc Sierra smooth round hp
Answer: 4 days postop Swelling is usually maximal at around 4 days postop. It is common to see more swelling on one side and for asymmetries to be present at this point. Over time, as swelling subsides, the breasts typically become more symmetric. You should discuss your concerns with your surgeon at your next visit and seek their re assurance that things are on track.

Answer: Asymmetry It is not unusual for the two breasts to not look exactly alike, especially early in the healing process. I would suggest meeting with your surgeon and discussing your concerns. You might have been asymmetrical before surgery and not paid much attention to that. With time, your breasts should settle. Ask your surgeon about exercises that can be done to help settle your implants.

Answer: Asymmetry after augmentation Thank you for your pictures you have a significant volume discrepancy. Either you have a damaged implant or you have a significant chest wall deformity/concaviyy that makes your implant look smaller. Please discuss this with your plastic surgeon at your follow up.

Answer: Significant asymmetry after breast augmentation will probably require revision. I doubt you will achieve asymmetry with time. I think you will need another operation to lower the left implant.

Answer: Did one breast drop and the other didn't? (Photo) You definitely have some asymmetry. This may improve with time as you are early postop. Based on your photos, you probably had asymmetric breast folds prior to surgery which will affect your results. As mentioned, a strap may help the right breast settle. An alternative I have used is to have women wear a sports bra and pull the bra over the right breast so it is only pushing down on one side.Continue to follow up with your surgeon. Don't consider revision for a few months to allow them to settle.
