Dear Jubilant60817,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You will need to get a clearance from your doctor prior to surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will et more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Most likely you can have a BBL despite having previous trauma. If there’s scar tissue in the areas involved then they may inhibit potential results to some degree. Without including pictures or more information it’s hard to say if your history of trauma would have a big impact on the outcome of a BBL.As always I recommend patients have multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD

No. Currently your BMI is 45. Its important to remember that generally most surgeons will, safely, do about 5-6L of liposuction per round (assuming you do more than one) that equates to about 10lbs that they will have to work with. Given how much excess fat you have vs how much your surgeon can...
