Night sweat and cough with mucus post-liposuction

Question

I had night sweats for the first time in my life. It also seems like I have a cold. I'm 31 year old male 210 recently had hip and abdominal liposuction four days ago. 6Is this normal? I am specifically concerned about the night sweat because I've had a small swollen lymph node for seven months, however my GPS and ENT said it's nothing to be concerned about.

Infection after liposuction is decidedly rare. Nevertheless it is possible in night sweats could be an indication of an early infection. This should be reported to your plastic surgeon.

This is not normal. He should not have night sweats. He has something going on in the realm of infection. You need to seek treatment immediately starting with your plastic surgeon and or family practitioner.

It is possible, though not likely, that you have had fat emboli. You need to have that evaluated immmediately. Call your surgeon to see what facility you can go to for the evaluation.
