Does plastic surgery affect people as they age?

Generally speaking,  plastic surgery should turn the clock back on the aging process as it keeps ticking. Rarely too much tissue can be removed  that can make people look prematurely older as they age. For example, this was sometimes seen with cosmetic eyelid surgery. Awareness and new techniques  have evolved to minimize these type of results. 

Facial plastic surgery affects people as they age. The common conveyor belt idea illustrates this idea, as follows: If
the surgery takes place at age 50, the individual getting the surgery will look
ten years younger. So, although they are
chronologically 50, they appear to be 40. But that conveyor belt of time keeps moving forward. If you look at that same individual ten years
later, he or she will now be chronologically at the age of 60, but will still
look ten years younger, which at this point would be 50. It is for this reason that many people
continue to have cosmetic surgeries. However, this is certainly not necessary.

Hello. The aging process is unaffected by plastic surgery. If you have plastic surgery, however, you will naturally age differently.

An elective cosmetic operation on the face will generally benefit the patient for a lifetime. It really has no effect on the aging process, just the visual manifestations.

Having Plastic Surgery does not affect the aging process.  You will continue to age.  The clock does not stop.  In general, elective procedures will benefit the patient for a lifetime.
