I noticed a fold and puffiness around on my face. What do I do to get rid of it? (Photo)

Thank you for your question, Kimmie.  Your NL folds can become more prominent as you mature and lose volume in your cheeks and upper face.  From your photos, you have relatively deep NL folds which makes the area around your full lips look "puffy".  I can't assess your cheeks, temples, etc. from your photo, but a good physician injector with the proper training could help develop a treatment plan for you during a face to face consultation.  You may be a candidate for fillers directly to the NL folds, or perhaps to the midface/cheek area.  Best of luck to you!

All of us have a nasolabial fold which will become more noticeable with time.  Sometimes it is aging, genetics, muscle movement, lifestyle and/or photo damage which can accelerate the depth of this line.  To best assess this we look at younger pictures of you and follow the progression of your nasolabial fold.  We also inquire about your family genetics to predict what your "look" is most likely to be.  Folds on your face that you dislike are best treated will fillers.  Interestingly fillers are often not just put in the fold, but are placed in other areas that may lift the fold.  Therefore, a total facial assessment is critical for the complete plan.  Also, I note you have some pigmentation above the lip which is common in your skin type.  Blending out your color with appropriate products will also help with the shading that occurs with extra pigmentation.  The darker skin next to lighter skin will emphasize or create a visual fold.
