This has to be seen in person or photos, sometimes its botox and lasers that work for this and sometimes fillers are needed. Best, Dr. Emer.
shany0702 Good day. There are various causes of horizontal dark lines across your nose. The most common are on the upper third and are due to a strong procerus muscle that can be corrected in mild cases with a neurotoxin injection like botox, xeomin or disport. Sometimes this is not enough and injections of a filler may be needed. In the worst cases a browlift maybe needed. If the horizontal line is in the lower third it may be due to allergy issues or a constant runny nose and drying that up along with treatment of the line is necessary. Sometimes they are due to trauma. Really, it all depends on your individual case. Please see a qualified plastic surgeon in your area to determine. If you can, include a photo and that will help us to assess your line. Good luck.
Depending on where the line is on your nose and what the color is would dictate what works best for you. If the line is higher on your nasal bridge inbetween your eyes then Botox may help you. If it is lower then that and depending on what color the line is you could have laser treatment performed to help you. If the line is red, you could use the pulse dye laser which targets the redness under your skin to help fade away your line. Stay Skintastic
I would recommend a combination of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and Morpheus 8. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF)...
While dynamic lines (lines associated with movement) will not be completely eliminated, a small amount of filler such as Juvederm, Teosyal, or Restylane can soften the grooves. Being young and thin, you will likely only need a small amount of product.Best wishes,-Dr. Asaria
Repeated dermal filler injections can actually stimulate your body's own collagen production, which will potentially allow you to use less filler on each subsequent treatment.
