The first picture is 1 day after operation and the 2nd is 1 week after after operation and the third is 3 weeks after..My doctor said that he overcorrected my ears on purpose and i need to be patient and with the following weeks or months my ears will relax and come to a more physical position..I am concerned that they will not relax and i need your opinion if my progress is good.Thanks

Hi Lisa1963,I have not heard of anybody using/producing metal based sutures. Sutures are mostly made of materials strong enough to hold tissues together but still flexible enough for knotting.
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with your ears. The cost of otoplasty varies from patient to patient and surgeon to surgeon. Having said that, it is probably in the $3000-$6000 range for most cases.
