I had smart lipo over a year ago with a touch up several months ago. I am still left with uneven inner thighs. It appears it is more skin than fat. What can be done to even them out??
Answer: #postliposuctiondefects I specialize in treating defects and deformities from Liposuction surgeries. most of the cases I see are due to laser-assisted liposuction. inner thighs and abdomen are most commonly affected areas. I see the unevenness in your pics. I am not able to appreciate the skin laxity from the photos though. it can be made better. but the inner thighs have to be very carefully sculpted. some parts might even need fat grafting

Answer: Touch up of inner thighs lipo? I see a little excess fat on both upper inner thighs, right more than left, which should even out nicely with liposculpture. The key is accurate markings and precise technique. I would wait until the areas have healed and regained their natural softness before touching up again.

Answer: Uneven Thighs After Liposuction This can be improved with various non invasive technologies but is best treated with properly performed liposuction revision that I do frequently in my practice. See an expert as this area can be easily damaged if not done properly. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Uneven thighs after liposuction Dear virgo1970, Thank you for your clinical post and photograph. Certain areas of the body such as the inner thigh and the upper arm and the upper abdomen can be prone to irregularities, indentations, fullness and even skin laxity following liposuction. SmartLipo and other thermal liposuction techniques such as the BodyTite are excellent ways to give a thermal coagulation of the fat and induce a soft tissue contraction of somewhere between 17% and 30% one year following the surgery. Overall, correction is still predicated upon the liposuction surgeon’s ability to visualize the three-dimensional shape of your figure, shape and form while performing the surgery. If you’ve waited one year and you have tried visiting with your surgeon and engaging in some sort of topical heating system such as Venus Freeze, Forma Plus BodyFx, Exilis or Thermage can provide some improvement and the inner thigh skin tightness and facilitate and synergize some of the fat irregularities. It appears the left upper inner thigh has more fullness in the right and I can’t truly appreciate the skin laxity with this quality of photograph. I would seek out the advice first of your operative physician and make sure they have a plan in place that leaves you filled with confidence that your concerns can be addressed. I hope this information has been of some assistance and best of luck. For more information, please review the link below. R. Stephen Mulholland, M.D. Certified Plastic Surgeon Yorkville, Toronto
