I had juvederm injected into my nasal folds yesterday. I have a lump near my mouth and when I smile you can see the lump plus it creates a hollow effect between the lump and my cheek. On the other side, I have a larger lump which has a oblong shape next to my nose but near my cheek, not my nasal fold. Every time I smile, it creates a deep crease in the fold since the filler seems to have gone to my cheek.

Answer: Swelling after Juvederm Too early to tell. Swelling happens after filler injections and can make things look a bit off until it subsides. Additionally, Juvederm specifically pulls water to itself right after injection so that is also what's happening. What I recommend is that you leave the area alone - do not press on it. You can move the filler around and make things much, much worse. So let it be. Let the water and swelling subside. And then determine how it looks This can take up to two weeks. Then see your injector for a follow-up. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
