I had a breast lift revision and breast augmentation. I will provide before and after pictures. Let's just say it makes me cry every time I look in the mirror. Not sure if what I have going on can be fixed. A lot people think it's not a big deal but too me it is. I would like smaller implants as well. I have 395 high profile filled to 450cc.
Answer: "Wieldly shaped breasts" Unlike the previous authors, I do not consider 395/450 cc implants too large or unreasonable. One of the most common problems with mastopexy (breast lift) performed at the same time as the augmentation is leaving too much natural breast tissue in place because the patient wants to be large. (I have made this mistake myself and learned a valuable lesson). Asymmetry can be the result of either the surgery or a preexisting condition. In this case, your large breast appearance is the result of too much tissue left behind. The treatment usually involves repairing the fold underneath the left breast and shortening the vertical distance from the nipple to the bottom of the breast so that it matches the other. The subsequent surgeon will need access to the previous surgeon's report of operation so that he/she is aware of the pedicle (remaining blood supply), which lessens the chance of tissue loss.

Answer: Explant and The Bellesoma Lift Your breasts are asymmetrical in volume, shape, position and the implants look too large. At this time, the technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Implants are not lifetime devices. Fat transfers are permanent and incorporated into the body.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Dorene33, Breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Revision Thanks for your question.A revision would involve skin and possibly some breast tissue resection and placement of a smaller breast implant on each side. An in person exam is required but based on your photos and your stated desire, I would likely recommend at least some breast tissue removal in addition to skin.Best of luck.

Answer: Can weird shaped breasts be fixed? I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast surgery. Yes, based on your photographs, I think that there is room for improvement. Revisionary breast would likely involve downsizing of breast implants as well as "adjustments" of the overlying breast/tissue envelope. In other words, skillful revision of the previous breast lift will be necessary to improve breast shape/contour and overall symmetry. My best advice: select your plastic surgeon very carefully. Make sure that he/she has significant experience achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Then, communicate your goals carefully, as well. Working together you will come up with a good plan to achieve your goals. Best wishes.
