Can anything be done to smooth out my skin after a tummy tuck didn't work? (Photo)

Question

I had a tummy tuck 4 months ago with lipo of the flanks and thighs. My first tummy tuck 17 years ago looked great. The second most recent tons of cellulite and protruding belly. Every day I look in the mirror I'm Angry an everyone who sees my tummy is grossed out. My surgeon said I would look better after the swelling from the lipo went down then laughed a few weeks later and said the cottage cheese appearance on my stomach is just what I is. Please advise !! It's much worse looking in person

Thank you for your pictures and questions. Without a physical exam it can be hard to evaluate this accurately. If you feel like your surgeon is not evaluating your concerns and responding in an appropriate manner, then maybe it is time for a second opinion?Best of luck!

as that shows a lot of insensitivity to patient concerns.  Good surgeons want their patients to be happy as it generates more leads and more patients.  Try to be patient and keep your surgeon informed of your concerns and at some point, he will realize that your concerns are valid.  Allow yourself to heal and once healed, see if his prophecy of better comes true or not.  And if not, you should have that discussion about what revisions may benefit you.  With my tummy tuck patients, they are all told to expect revisions as perfection is very difficult to achieve with one procedure.
