hello thank you for your question and provided information as well..Based on your question, I would not take any risk, only that it has to be evaluated by your primary care physician and that you verify that it is suitable for the surgical procedure.

Thanks for the question.You should not stop taking the Effexor before surgery (take it with a tiny sip of water the morning of surgery) as you may experience withdrawals with even missing one dose.  The Wellbutrin is not that delicate, so you may skip a dose or even two.Dr T

I treat a lot of patients that are on these medications. In general, it is usually not a problem,. you need to review your history with your surgeon and anesthesiologist.

For elective surgery such as you are having done it is best to speak with your surgeon or anaesthiologist pre operatively. The fact that neither prescription has known interactions doesn’t mean you you should avoid telling the doctors in your charge about them. Best wishes.
