I fell directly in my face about 15 year ago. My upper lip and the area above split open and I broke my front teeth. I don't mind the scar above my lip but there is a swollen mass on the bottom of my upper lip that bothers me. It wasn't that noticeable but in the past year it has been randomly swelling. I don't know what is causing it. Now it seems more pronounced and I hate the way it looks when I smile. Can this scar be removed or diminished in any way?
