Unfortunately, at the present time, there is no technology or techniques, either alone or in combination anywhere in the world that can completely erase a mature scar (defined as a scar over three months old). In general, about a 60-80% improvement in appearance (rarely 90%) can be realistically be expected. Surgical scar revisions, particularly in areas subject to static or dynamic tension, run the risk for the subsequent development of stretch scars and tram track stitch marks. The scars here appear to be hypertrophic. If so, then the use of intralesional corticosteroid injections can be used to shrink and flatten them, so that they no longer protrude and are flush with the surrounding normal skin. Several treatment sessions may be necessary. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Best of luck.
