35 yo female. I had a mole removed from my face 5 months ago. It was a shave removal and the doctor cauterised the area afterwards. It has healed mostly flat (with only a very minor indentation), but I am still struggling with texture and discolouration issues. I have been using silicone gel/plasters everyday for more than 4 months, since I am prone to keloid scarring. Would a retinoid help to improve this type of scar? Or are there any other topical ingredients that would help?
