Reduce lip scar tissue and tension? (Photo)

I busted my lip this pastOctober, creating a laceration on both the inside of my mouth and in the middle of my lower lip. I found 2 mucoceles and had those removed surgically in December. Now I’m left with scar tissue in the middle of my bottom lip, which I have been massaging since the surgery. The external laceration scar itself also seems to be creating tension that makes a small part of my lip “bubble” when smiling slightly. What can I do to improve the discoloration, tension, shape, any?
