The entire scalp area was treated at a dermatologist's office with the PicoSure laser to remove scalp micropigmentation. There are small (i.e., roughly dime size) scattered patches of hair loss, which were evident immediately after the treatment session. There are also other areas where the hair follicles remained but the pigment in the follicles disappeared. The rest of the scalp area shows no signs of damage from the PicoSure treatment session. Are these changes permanent?
