I had 8 implants placed in my upper bone in prep for a full bridge. The implants were placed under the gums. They were placed 5 weeks ago. I have one implant showing on the side of my gums. I went in for a follow up and was told that what is showing is the bottom/cap of the implant, and that my denture was rubbing. He adjusted my denture to allow more clearance and said if it doesn't heal over he'll have to remove the implant. Should I be concerned? There is no pain or infection as of yet.
