Which one is better: Vitrase vs Hylenex? Why doctors choose to carry one over the other?

They both work very quickly to dissolve all of the hyaluronic acid fillers, including Juvederm.  Some benefit is often seen within hours.Some think that since Hylenex is a human recombinant product, there may be a lower incidence of allergic reactions with this product. Pretty much all Hyaluronidase is the same just different manufacturers.  Personally I use Hylenex. I have not had too many issues dissolving hyaluronic acid products.  I would recommend a second opinion.

Hylenex is human recombinant hyaluronidase. It is exactly the same as your own body produces. It is a bit more expensive than the others but there is no chance of an allergic reaction. Vitrase is ovine  (sheep) hyaluronidase. This can rarely cause an allergic reaction. There seems to be a higher incidence in people allergic to bees. Both are effective. I only use hylenex now. 

I have used hyaluronidase in different forms, and I honestly can not tell the difference as to which one might be better. Best of luck.
