Im 22y/o 5'3 and 128 pounds. I would like to get lipo sculpture on my flanks. I asked a question earlier about which procedure would give me the best results, a lot of docs commented I should do my entire torso. I am able to loose the weight off my stomach naturally, but not my flanks I have always had them, which is why I am only interested in liposculture of my flanks. What is a rough estimate of the total cost for someone my size? The pictures show me at my lowest and highest weight (today)

Costs are usually based on type of anesthesia used, number of body parts being treated, technology being used, and size of the patient. If what you refer to as "flanks" is considered one "area," then I would anticipate the cost ranging from $4000 to $6000. It is unlikely to find anyone to do a liposuction procedure, even one area on a small person, for less than $4000.As to which procedure is "best," I have fairly strong opinions on that, as I have used virtually every liposuction system out there and have been able to get excellent results with all. I have also seen terrible results from all. My point is, that the type of system (/Vaser, laser, SmartLipo, BodyJet, TickleLipp, etc.) is less important than the person using it. Find a surgeon who has a lot of experience and is board certified, either by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) or the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). These certifications still do not guarantee that the person gets great results, but they do indicate a high level of training and experience. Also look at online reviews and ask any of your friends who have had liposuction about their experiences. RealSelf.com is also a great way to do research and you're already doing that, so you're on the right track. Treatment generally starts at about four thousand dollars for the first hour. It takes from one to several hours depending on the areas being treated and the goals of the operation. As an example, a thin patient desiring sculpting and refinement of their abdominal contours may take more time than a heavier individual requesting generalized fat reduction.

If a patient truly just needs flanks done, I charge about $3600 (depends upon amount of fat). Transferring this fat into buttock or breasts is an additional $2500.
