I personally will wait until 9 -12 months before even DECIDING if a minor rasping procedure is necessary for any patient. A lot of changes can happen in one year, but healing is a crucial factor for minor revisions. Thank you for your question.  It may indeed be possible to soften the nasal bone contour with a limited procedure.  In my practice, I try to give is a full year to heal before trying to open the area again.  I have  done procedures similar in scope with local anesthesia and sedation - or general anesthesia.  I have not used only local FWIW.

Usually the waiting time for a revision is 12 months, but under certain circumstances it can be done earlier. The best doctor to make a decision is your surgeon.  A minor dorsal revision as yours can be done under local anesthetics and sedation.
