Other treatments have failed. I tried nasal valve repair, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. I also take antihistamines and Flonase with little success. When I push up on the tip of my nose it feels ten times better and I can breathe. I think I have weak tip cartilage. Us there any possibility of insurance covering this?

You should definitely contact your surgeon to let him or her know that you have a cold. It will be up to your particular surgeon whether your rhinoplasty is postponed or not. In general, it is best not to undergo elective cosmetic procedures when you are ill.
