Thank you for your question.  It sounds like you have had a few treatments already for your breathing.  Likely your situation is not an easy one.   In general adjustments to the nasal tip are considered cosmetic.  In rare cases there can be functional problems that would potentially qualify for insurance coverage.  In our experience, it is always challenging to get those problems covered.  Make sure you talk with a surgeon that has experience in this type of problem.

Surgical plans to address breathing difficulties are best addressed by consulting an experienced functional rhinoplasty surgeon. Most insurance carriers do cover interventions to address breathing issues. With the exception of a collapsed or constricted external nasal valve, tip plasties procedures usually are designed to change the appearance.
