Swelling after SculpSure? The swelling scares me. Will it last more than a week?

I would say that the inner thighs are one of the more sensitive areas to treat with SculpSure.  It is possible to develop some swelling after the treatment, but this normally should begin to resolve after just a matter of days.  If you feel that it is not improving, you should contact the physician who treated you.  

Thank you for the question. There is no downtime with Sculpsure but there can be some swelling, tenderness and firmness at the treatment site which usually resolves within 2 weeks. In some cases it lasts longer.

Swelling after SculpSure is very common and the inner thigh is a bit painful and swelling is expected. The swelling should last about a week.Enjoy your results when the swelling goes down!

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing so much pain after your procedure.  Swelling is normal after getting the procedure.  You can take Tylenol and use ice packs to relieve the swelling and discomfort.  Make sure you don't cross your legs after having it done on the inner thighs until the tenderness has subsided.  If it continues to bother you, you may want to contact the physician who treated you.  

Swelling after SculpSure is normal. Although usually mild, some people have more of a reaction than others.
The good news is that it's temporary, and should decrease in the next couple of weeks. You may have some residual nodules, which are collections of dead fat cells. Those may take a few extra weeks to go away, and respond well to massage.
Drink plenty of water as you are doing (about half your weight in ounces), massage the area, and definitely take Tylenol if you are in pain.

Remember, you are “burned” in your fat—swelling especially on lower half of body this can happen with any “injury” no matter how minor—this will pass! I think elevation of lower extremities may help, possibly short duration ice packs (over thin towel) and even Motrin if you absolutely need it (the inflammation has already happened!) but only if Tylenol is insufficient.

I'm sorry to hear about the pain and swelling. This should resolve with in a day. Try to massage the area when it is hurting less. I have not seen people be so tender in my practice. It is important to also communicate your needs during the procedure. Do take the Tylenol. You should see results in 6 weeks and the final results in 12 weeks.
