I’m considering SculpSure! Am I a good candidate? I have some stubborn belly flab I can’t seem to get rid of with exercise. I would still like to drop a few pounds. If I do lose a little weight will it effect the results after I have the procedure? How long do the results last and how often are maintenance procedures required to maintain the results?

You are an excellent candidate for sculpsure. Realize that only 28% of fat will be removed from a given area. The loose skin you see when you bend forward will still be there following this treatment. It is recommended that 2 treatments are necessary to obtain the best results.

Sculpsure isn't nearly as good as Coolsculpting. However, any of the non invasive options need to be combined with radiofrequency treatments to get the best outcomes. I recommend combining Sculpsure or Coolsculpting with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal and shaping for the abdomen but would require more downtime. Best, Dr. Emer

Hello and thank you for your photos and question.You appear to be a great candidate for SculpSure. SculpSure permanently destroys 24% of the fat cells in the treated area. Losing weight will not effect your results, you may have additional fat loss to the area. Once the fat cells are destroyed, your body releases them through the lymphatic system. To maintain the results, healthy eating and a active lifestyle are recommended. Maintenance treatments are not needed unless you desire additional fat loss to areas.Hope this helps,

Yes it seems you are an excellent candidate but a consultation is always the best way to determine what treatment areas you will need.  While it will be 10-12 weeks before you see the completed resluts the treatment s are permanent.  Good luck!

SculpSure treats up to 25% of fat in the treated area in a single treatment. It takes up to 12 weeks to see your results. From the pictures you have provided, you may be a candidate for treatment, depending on what your aesthetic goals are. For optimal results, two treatments are necessary if not more. The results from SculpSure are permanent, as the laser destroys the fat cells treated.
SculpSure is not a weight loss treatment, it is a body contouring treatment. If you are trying to lose weight on your own, there is no adverse effect to having the SculpSure treatment.

The perfect candidate for SculpSure is someone who is under 30 BMI; you appear to be under that.  That being said your abdomen appears to be 2 to 3 treatments and flanks another 2 treatments.  The results for SculpSure are permanent.  You can still gain weight, but it will appear in other areas.  To achieve the best results I recommend that my patients pair SculpSure with a healthy lifestyle (exercise and sensible diet).

Hi! I think you would be a great candidate for SculpSure. It may take 2 to 3 treatments in the lower abdomen and upper abdomen with maybe 2 treatments in the flanks. Continue exercising because that will lower your body fat and improve your core. I like to tell my patients to do the plank often. This really helps too. Treatment with SculpSure is permanent. Those fats cells will be completely destroyed,but you want to always maintain a healthy lifestyle of a good diet and regular exercise.

You appear to be a perfect candidate, and it will take 2 probably not 3 treatments. Your BMI looks to be in range, and you need CONTOURING more than weight loss. I believe you will be happy with your results even if you subsequently lose weight--it will be in the other areas rather than the location of "stubborn fat."
