Very narrow palate with an overbite - getting double jaw surgery to open the airway. I would also like a wider smile (currently wearing lingual braces). Is there a non-SARPE surgical procedure to widen the jaw that can occur simultaneously? Post-surgery, I have 3 weeks off, so ideally I'd heal by then. I have no interest in SARPE because I don't want to wear that appliance for 3 months post-op. I'm not willing to interact with coworkers and live with a speech impediment so long. Thanks!
