I had an accident that left a large, unsightly dimple. I had a fat transfer to the area, and now it is more asymmetrical and more bulging. Next, the surgeon suggested he cut into the scar (creating another scar) and place some fascia there. I was looking at surgeons who did dimple surgery and was thinking I could get reverse dimple surgery, although my “dimple” is high on the cheek.

Answer: Subcision Works Well For Elevating & Smoothing Indented Scars
Yes, you are correct about having an indentation when you're not smiling - while you recover from your surgery. I would recommend avoiding any filler product to the area while it is healing. The dimpleplasty procedure relies on a scar forming between the undersurface of your skin and the muscle...
Thanks for your question.
If you desire deep dimple on natural dimple location, this can be done. By suturing muscle to dermal structure, dimple can be accentuated. I suggest not to change the location of new dimple.

Yes,you can create dimple without surgery and use only thread. One of the issue with dimple surgery is weak dimple and sometimes weak dimple may not be seen later. Dimple without surgery has greater risk of weak dimple.
